Joint modelling of treatment timing and prostate cancer recurrence

I presented our research on joint modelling of time to curative treatment and prostate cancer recurrence at the 9th Baltic Meeting in conjunction with the European Association of Urology, held on 24–25 May 2024 in Tallinn, Estonia.
The talk was followed by a poster presentation, and our work received the second-best-presentation award. The research explores the relationship between treatment timing and subsequent recurrence through a joint-modelling approach.
Two related abstracts were accepted at the meeting and published in European Urology Open Science: the joint-modelling study presented in this talk, and a companion study on preliminary evidence of Gleason grade inflation before treatment. Both are linked below.
